ABSENCE

Parents are asked to contact the office on 9361 – 5990 between 8.00am and 10.00am to indicate a student's absence from the College and provide a reason for the absence.

If an absence is known prior to this day, a note of explanation and the dates of the absence may be sent to the Homebase Teacher who will pass it on to the front office. In the case of long term absences, such as holidays, contact with the Year Level Coordinator and a letter advising the College is required. Please refer to the Extended Leave Policy for details.

If there is no notification of an absence by 10.00am, the College will send an SMS to the parent's/guardian's mobile phone to indicate the student is absent. Parents are required to contact the College to indicate the reason for the absence.  Students may also bring a note to explain the absence on their return to school.

 

Please Note: Days absent are recorded on the College report for Semester 1 and 2.
